Job Description:

As the Hotel Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, and profitability for the hotel. You will lead a team to drive sales initiatives, build strong relationships with clients, and promote the hotel's brand image to target markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Identify target markets, segments, and key accounts for sales efforts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential business partners.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote hotel services and facilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients to secure business and maximize revenue.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Set performance targets, track progress, and evaluate team performance against key metrics.
  • Marketing and Promotions:
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to drive brand awareness and attract potential guests.
  • Utilize digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and online travel agencies (OTAs) to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create compelling content, collateral materials, and visual assets for marketing purposes.
  • Revenue Management:
  • Collaborate with revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies, manage room inventory, and maximize revenue per available room (RevPAR).
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Event Management and Catering Sales:
  • Oversee event management and catering sales efforts, including weddings, conferences, banquets, and other special events.
  • Coordinate with event planners, banquet teams, and catering staff to ensure seamless execution of events and exceed client expectations.
  • Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction:
  • Maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.
  • Address guest feedback, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales and marketing, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, marketing principles, and revenue management strategies.
  • Proficiency in sales and marketing software, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
