Role Purpose: The Sales & Application Engineer (SAE) is responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities through strategic market development and partner engagement. Adopting a consultative solution-selling approach, you will build enduring customer relationships, establish key reference sites, and take full ownership of achieving defined sales targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

A. Your Foundation

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Alternative Path: We value real-world expertise. If you have a solid track record in Industrial IT or Automation through industry experience and specialized training, we want to hear from you.

B. Communication & Connection

  • Multilingual Impact: Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential. Our ecosystem is diverse, and connecting across languages is key to our collaborative success.
  • The Personal Touch: Proficiency in local dialects is a definite plusit helps in building the deep-rooted, boots-on-the-ground relationships our clients value.

C. Your Journey So Far

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 12 years in Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or technical training within an industrial environment.
  • Industry Insight (+): Prior exposure to Industrial System Integration, Factory Automation, or the Transportation sectors is highly advantageous.

  • A Master Communicator: You can translate complex technical shop talk into clear, actionable solutionswhether over a call, an email, or a face-to-face coffee.
