Job Summary
This position is responsible for expanding the customer base in Malaysia by focusing primarily on new business development (approximately 80%) and maintaining existing clients (approximately 20%), mainly targeting Japanese manufacturing companies. The role involves proposing precision metal parts to clients in the automotive, air conditioning (compressor-related), and precision equipment industries. You will be required to understand customers technical requirements (drawings and specifications) and collaborate with in-house engineers to propose optimal manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities
Conduct new business development targeting mainly Japanese manufacturing companies (approx. 80%)
Maintain and follow up on existing clients (approx. 20%) (approximately 4-5 clients in Malaysia)
Handle sales activities for clients in automotive, air conditioning (compressor-related), precision equipment, and motorcycle industries
Visit clients to understand their needs and prepare quotations
Accompany engineers to client meetings to provide technical discussions and proposals
Travel domestically (e.g., Johor, Penang - about once a month) and overseas (e.g., Singapore, Thailand - about once a year)
Coordinate with production and quality departments regarding delivery schedules and quality issues
Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
MUST TO HAVE:
- a few years of Sales experience in the manufacturing industry
-Experience in selling components/parts (not finished products)
