We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead the expansion of cutting-edge AI robotics solutions in Malaysia. This role focuses on driving growth beyond retail into government and enterprise sectors, leveraging strong industry relationships and collaboration with a world-class R&D team in China. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to scale AI robotics solutions across Malaysia, starting with government and technology sectors and expanding into industries such as security, logistics, manufacturing, and smart cities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, trade ministries, and regulatory bodies to influence policy decisions and secure strategic partnerships that drive adoption of robotics solutions.
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities by analyzing industry trends and customer needs, positioning the company as a leader in automation and AI innovation.
- Engage with senior decision-makers and C-suite executives in enterprise organizations to present tailored robotics solutions that address operational challenges and deliver measurable business value.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team in China to design and deliver customized robotics solutions that meet specific client requirements and align with local market conditions.
- Lead complex negotiations and successfully close high-value contracts with government and enterprise clients, ensuring profitability and long-term business relationships.
- Work cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless solution deployment and exceptional customer experience.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge in the robotics industry.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and government forums to strengthen brand visibility, build thought leadership, and promote AI robotics solutions.

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within technology or robotics sectors - Proven experience in driving growth and managing complex sales cycles in high-tech industries is essential.
