Generate leads through a mix of cold calling, targeted email campaigns, referrals, partner introductions and active networking at industry events.
Proactively drive deal through consistent follow-ups and strategic stakeholder alignment within client organizations.
Build a robust, healthy pipeline by targeting SMEs and mid-market companies, while strategically pursuing high-value Enterprise and GLC opportunities.
Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to identify specific client pain points and propose high-impact AI solutions.
Deliver product presentations and demos (collaborating with technical teams when necessary) to clearly articulate business outcomes, ROI, and implementation roadmaps.
Negotiate commercial terms to close deals that meet revenue and margin expectations while staying aligned with company objectives.
Prepare proposals and quotations, clearly defining project scope, timelines, success criteria and pricing models.
Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to support renewals, expansion opportunities, and long-term retention.
Maintain accurate records (pipeline stages, forecasts, meeting notes) and produce weekly/monthly reports on sales performance and deal cycle times.
Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition after closing and maintain client confidence throughout the deployment.
Stay updated on AI/tech trends, competitor offerings, and local industry priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 2–4 years of proven experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, preferably within the tech or AI industry.
Demonstrated ability in managing client relationships, complex problem-solving, and delivering solution-based results.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
A self-starter capable of working independently to hit targets, while remaining a collaborative team player.
Goal-oriented with a strong hunter mindset and a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Must possess a valid driver's license and own a vehicle, with a willingness to travel within Malaysia for client meetings and industry events.
