About The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to drive business growth for its industrial and electronic gases portfolio. Based in Shah Alam, Selangor, this role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market presence, acquiring new customers, and strengthening relationships with existing key accounts. Candidates with experience in the electronic gases or industrial gases industry are highly preferred, while those with a proven track record of supplying products, materials, or technical solutions to the semiconductor industry will also be considered. The successful candidate will work closely with global and local stakeholders to execute business strategies, monitor market trends, manage budgets and forecasts, and lead commercial initiatives that support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business strategy and annual operating plan for the industrial and electronic gases business line, aligned with the Company's overall objectives.
• Act as the bridge between Malaysia and global headquarters, translating global directives into actionable local strategies.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological developments to ensure business relevance and competitiveness.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or degree holder.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with significant exposure to gas related industries preferred.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Able to speak English, Malay and Mandarin.
