What This Role Is All About
We are looking for Sales Development Representative to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As the first line of contact at Infobip, you will be the driving force behind managing inbound leads, responding within SLAs, and ensuring every prospect is qualified and followed up with the right sequence.
You will work closely with Marketing to take ownership of inbound leads, and with Sales teams to hand off qualified opportunities to field sales, Partnerships, or Mid Market Account Executives. When inbound volume allows, you will also take part in outbound prospecting into target accounts.
This role is your springboard into enterprise technology sales — giving you deep exposure to the Infobip platform, qualification methodologies, and sales processes that set you up for long-term growth.
What Will You Do
- Manage inbound leads for the region — receive leads, respond promptly, and set up meetings with Account Executives (A and B) or Mid Market AEs (C)
- Take inbound phone calls, live chats, and respond to contact forms and inquiries to assess prospect qualification and customer needs
- Identify customer segment, vertical, and need early in the discussion to route properly to the respective squad
- Ensure proper qualification towards direct or indirect (partnership) business models
- Consistently meet response time SLAs for inbound leads
- Use class-leading tools to verify information at both contact and account levels, completing any lead information gaps
- Maintain contact sequences in Outreach, always using the most adequate sequence based on the lead source and request
- Keep the customer and prospect database accurate and up to date
- Act as a pre-sales development checkpoint to ensure leads are ready and qualified for further engagement
- Work closely with colleagues to learn more about the Infobip platform and business development practices
- Build and maintain extensive knowledge of how Infobip solves business challenges
- Learn a disciplined, programmatic approach to campaign-based pipeline generation and marketing sales-ready lead qualification
- Work closely with the Marketing team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generated
- Provide ongoing feedback to the Sales and Marketing departments for continuous process optimization
- Use and maintain Salesforce for data quality
- Accept feedback and training for continuous development alongside the Inside Sales Team Leader and peers
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- Previous experience in sales development, inbound lead management, or B2B sales support is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable handling inbound phone calls and live chat inquiries
- Quick thinker with the ability to assess needs and route prospects effectively
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about technology, cloud communications, and the CPaaS industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Outreach tools is a plus
- A team player mindset with strong interpersonal skills
