Sales Digital Marketing Specialist

Heroes of Digital is seeking a Sales Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic sales team in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships through the promotion and sale of our digital marketing solutions. As a senior member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and developing strategic sales initiatives that align with our company's ambitious growth objectives. Your expertise in digital marketing sales will be instrumental in expanding our client base and establishing Heroes of Digital as a leading digital marketing provider in the region.

Key responsibilities

1. Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within the digital marketing sector
2. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and objectives
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities
4. Meet and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators on a consistent basis
5. Conduct needs assessments with potential clients to understand their digital marketing challenges and recommend appropriate solutions
6. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements whilst protecting company interests
7. Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution
8. Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation to support business decision-making
9. Mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing best practices and contributing to team development
10. Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and digital marketing innovations to inform sales strategy

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5-7 years of proven sales experience, preferably in digital marketing, technology, or related B2B services sector
2. Strong understanding of digital marketing services, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and analytics
3. Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels
5. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage complex sales cycles
6. Strategic thinking skills with the capacity to develop and implement effective sales strategies and business development initiatives
7. Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong work ethic and professional attitude
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM platforms; experience with sales management tools is advantageous
9. Fluency in English; additional language proficiency such as Malay or Mandarin is beneficial
10. Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and networking opportunities
11. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred
