ZYPEEK Group is one high-performance polymers manufacturer headquartered in China. We are committed to providing innovative and sustainable PEEK material solutions for consumer electronics, automotive, energy, Aerospace and Medical. To accelerate our global expansion, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Director to drive revenue growth within Southeast Asia.
This role is pivotal in executing our market penetration strategy, building a robust sales pipeline, and achieving sales targets. You will be a key player on the ground, reporting to and working closely with the Global business Head/VP.
Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Market Research & Key Account Development: Conduct regional market research to identify and develop key accounts within the target industry, building a robust pipeline of high-quality sales leads.
- Key Account Management & Sales Growth: Establish, maintain, and deepen long-term relationships with strategic key accounts. Drive increased product sales and market share through professional account management and sales techniques.
- Full Sales Cycle Management: Take full ownership of the entire sales process, from initial contact and technical presentations to quotation, negotiation, and final contract closure.
- Technical Coordination & Support: Act as the key liaison between customers and the internal technical team. Accurately understand and communicate customer technical requirements, coordinating internal resources to deliver customized solutions.
- Marketing Support: Actively participate in and support local marketing initiatives, such as industry trade shows and technical seminars, to enhance brand awareness and generate new leads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in technology or commercial. Material/Chemical/Mechanical is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development within the high performance Engineering Plastics relevant materials industry, such as PEEK/PI/PPS/PVDF/PEI/PAT/PPSU/PAI/UHMWPE. Could be from material manufacturers or semi finishing products, compounds, processor or distributors from above products. PEEK experience is preferred.
- Industry knowledge and customer connection: Electronics including Semi-conductor, General industry, Auto and other industries in Energy, Aero and Medical.
- A genuine passion and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential. Be a proactive self-starter, capable of thriving in an ambiguous environment and building structures and processes from scratch.
- Exceptional ability to withstand pressure, adapt to challenges, and drive results in a dynamic startup-like environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Southeast Asia (approximately 50%).
