Sales Engineer (HVAC – VRF & Chiller)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru & Penang, Malaysia (On-site)
We are hiring Sales Engineers for a leading global company specializing in HVAC. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in HVAC, VRF, chiller, or ACMV solutions who enjoy combining technical expertise with customer engagement and business development. Fresh Engineering graduates are also encouraged to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote VRF and chiller solutions to consultants, contractors, developers, and end users.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable HVAC solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and marketing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in HVAC, VRF, chiller, ACMV, or technical sales is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with an Engineering degree are welcome to apply.
- Mandarin proficiency is required due to regular communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and recommend technical solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
Preferred Experience:
- Technical sales or application engineering experience.
- Knowledge of VRF, chiller, AHU, FCU, or commercial HVAC systems.
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, developers, or M&E firms.
- Familiarity with HVAC design software or sales tools is an advantage.
