Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Development & Market Expansion

  • Develop and grow a client base in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and other Southeast Asian countries, focusing on the food & beverage, agriculture, and pet food industries.
  • Promote the company's services including testing, training, certification, and auditing.
  • Implement regional sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and increase market share.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identify upselling opportunities, and build long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and provide technical consultations, ensuring smooth service delivery through coordination with internal teams.

2. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical and certification departments to align service delivery with client expectations.
  • Share market insights and client feedback to support service improvement and product development.

3. Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes in Southeast Asia.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales and market reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to increase brand awareness.

4. Negotiation & Contract Management

  • Lead negotiations on pricing and contract terms.
  • Manage contract finalization processes and follow up on payments to ensure project completion.

5. Business Travel

  • Willing to travel frequently for business purposes to countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, and other assigned markets.

Requirement

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Food Science, Biotechnology, Agriculture, International Trade, Marketing, or related fields (preferred).

Experience

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in food/agriculture/pet food industries or testing/certification sectors.
  • The existing client network in Southeast Asia (Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia) is a strong advantage.

Skills

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Other

  • Results-driven, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and capable of independently acquiring clients.
