We are partnering with a Malaysian corporation that specializes in providing M&E solutions to buildings. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Sales Engineer as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners to encourage the use of the company's technical products.
- Promoting specialized mechanical equipment and solutions to various sectors, including hospitals, airports, factories, and commercial buildings.
- Providing technical support by helping clients select the right equipment and creating design proposals.
- Preparing project quotations and assisting with tender submissions.
- Offering assistance before and after a sale to ensure customers are satisfied with their technical solutions.
- Keeping track of market trends, what competitors are doing, and how our products are performing.
- Working closely with internal production and engineering teams to ensure orders are made correctly and delivered on time.
- Collaborating with consulting engineers and developers on system designs and installation requirements for large projects.
- Helping to organize and run technical workshops, seminars, and exhibitions to showcase our technology.
Requirements:
- A background in Mechanical or Electrical (M&E) Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years of working experience within the engineering or building services industry.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and provide equipment recommendations based on client needs.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites and meet with clients across different sectors.
- A proactive attitude toward learning new technical systems and market developments.
