Job Summary:
• Responsible for managing sales and marketing activities within assigned territories in Malaysia.
• A motivated and professional sales contributor with a strong results orientation, high level of integrity and ethics, and the ability to establish excellent face-to-face connections with clients while maintaining long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Implement sales and marketing activities, including developing new business opportunities, executing sales promotions, trade activities, and product pricing strategies for the Malaysian market.
• Coordinate with Customer Experience (CX) personnel to ensure the timely availability and delivery of products to customers.
• Follow up on projects and quotations, including timely and accurate CRM updates to support effective pipeline management.
• Prepare quotations based on approved price lists or within delegated pricing authority.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key government departments, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Provide guidance and technical support to appointed distributors and sub-distributors.
• Analyze market conditions to identify new sales opportunities, expand market coverage, and establish a strong sales network. Monitor market pricing and propose competitive selling prices based on market intelligence.
• Regularly visit key clients and prospects to develop and strengthen business relationships.
• Evaluate and optimize distribution channels to maximize sales within the assigned territory.
• Deliver technical presentations to clients and engineers to promote the company's products.
• Participate in sales meetings, prepare monthly forecasts by territory, customer, and product segment.
• Contribute to the annual budget planning process and support the development and implementation of strategies to strengthen the company's market position.
Other Responsibilities:
• Promote the company's interests through active participation in relevant professional and industry bodies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure a structured and organized approach to administrative tasks.

Knowledge/Performance Indicators
• Achievement of sales revenue and volume targets in line with monthly and annual goals
• Adherence to sales expense budgets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or ERP systems is an advantage
• Accuracy and completeness of client, project, quotation, and order data in CRM systems
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or civil engineering-related roles
• Strong customer-oriented mindset
• Experience in the construction materials or geosynthetics industry is an advantage
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marketing, or a related Business discipline. Candidates with industry experience but lower formal qualifications may also be considered.
