Role: Sales Engineer
Location: Glenmarie, Selangor
Job Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Build & nurture long-term relationship with stakeholders, including procurement teams, engineers & decision makers for key account customers.
- Manage B2B sales cycles, from tracking bids, issuing quotations, sample evaluation to singing contracts and sealing orders
- Hunting new business opportunities by making cold calls to set up meeting appointments with potential customers.
- Monitor semiconductor industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies to adapt sales strategies.
Technical Consultation & Solutions
- Able to articulate complex technical datasheet in an easy-to-understand way during technical product presentation.
- Able to conduct on-site technical product demonstrations, analyze specific customer requirement ensuring product specifications are met.
- Work with suppliers from various countries (Europe, US, China) to discuss sample evaluation methods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics or related) or Bachelor of Science in Physics.
- Preferred candidates with semiconductor industry experience
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, customer-oriented, and able to work independently
- Willing to travel within Malaysia or sometimes overseas to support regional sales.
