Job Description

This position starts as an interpretation and sales support role assisting the Japanese Sales GM. The role will gradually develop into a full sales executive position with expanded responsibilities.

In the initial stage, the focus will be on interpretation and customer support. Over time, the candidate will take on sales responsibilities and manage assigned customers independently.

Main Responsibilities

① Interpretation & Client Support (Initial Role)

Accompany the Japanese Sales GM and provide interpretation during business meetings

(English / Malay / Chinese ⇄ Japanese)

Support 2-3 customer visits per day

Business trips approximately twice a month (Penang, Johor Bahru, Singapore)

※ Overnight stay may be required when necessary

Sales Support

Support relationship building and follow-up with existing customers

Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales documents

Collect market information and identify business opportunities

③ Sales Activities (Future Role)

Develop new customers (calls, networking, referrals, etc.)

Understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions

Execute sales plans to achieve targets

Gradually expand customer portfolio over time

④ Order & Customer Coordination (Support Role)

Support purchase order (PO) management and delivery coordination

Assist in preparing invoices, delivery orders (DO), and related documents

Handle customer inquiries and complaints with internal support

Monitor customer payment status and report internally

⑤ Internal Coordination

Prepare sales reports and market information reports

Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (customers, suppliers, logistics providers)

MUST TO HAVE:

-Japanese language proficiency N2 or above

-Able to accompany sales visits and provide interpretation during business meetings

-Willingness to travel for business trips

-Strong interest in building a career in sales
