Role Purpose
Results-driven Sales Executive responsible for driving sales performance across retail pharmacy channels, including independent and chain pharmacists. Focused on achieving sales targets, strengthening product availability, and building strong partnerships with pharmacy customers to support brand growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales Performance & Territory Management
- Achieve sales targets within assigned retails pharmacy territory through effective territory management.
- Manage territory planning, call scheduling and customer coverage effectively.
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales activities and market feedback, to support performance tracking and business decision-making.
Customer Relationship & Product Promotion
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent pharmacists and pharmacy chains.
- Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to pharmacists to drive recommendation and sales.
- Provide product knowledge and training support to pharmacy staff.
- Engage with pharmacists and healthcare professionals (HCPs), by explaining product benefits, sharing updates and supporting activities like GSA and BLITZ to increase product awareness and recommendation.
Trade Execution & Market Development
- Consistently monitor outlet stock availability to ensure products are not out of stock and track competitor activities such as promotions, pricing and campaigns.
- Ensure proper execution of marketing and promotional activities at outlet level, including product displays and visibility.
Feedback & Reporting
- Provide timely market feedback to the Company, including competitor actions and customer response, which helps management make better business decisions.
Academic, Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline is required; a degree in Science, Pharmacy or a related field is preferred to support understanding of pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas.
- Minimum two (2) years of sales experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and effectively manage customer relationships within an assigned territory.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Retail experience is an advantage, particularly in customer-facing or sales roles.
- Good understanding of sales processes, customer engagement and territory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and identify business opportunities.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare industry practices is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive successful customer outcomes.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
