Our client is a well-established international distributor specializing in high-precision industrial tools, measuring instruments, factory equipment, and advanced automation solutions. To support their expanding market footprint, they are seeking a proactive, confident, and independent sales professional to drive regional development.

Requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Account Management: Actively develop and maintain strong business relationships with new and existing clients across the assigned territories.

  • Lead Generation: Build a healthy pipeline by identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, professional emails, targeted market research, and face-to-face visits.

  • Sales Operations: Handle the end-to-end sales documentation process—including Request for Quotations (RFQs), formal quotations, purchase orders, invoicing, and delivery orders utilizing AutoCount software.

  • Product Promotion: Intelligently pitch and promote industrial tools, measuring instruments, factory machinery, and automation systems, highlighting the value of premium Japanese engineering.

  • Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare structured weekly and monthly sales pipeline reports. Coordinate closely with internal customer support and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field (a background or basic knowledge in engineering/technical fields is highly preferred).

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of working experience, with at least 1 year of direct industrial or B2B sales experience preferred.

  • Language Skills: Professional fluency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to speak Mandarin or Japanese is a strong added advantage but not mandatory.

  • Mobility: Must possess an active, valid driving license and own a personal vehicle for daily client visits.

  • Key Attributes: Confident, outspoken, and highly responsible. Possesses an organized approach to client follow-ups, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. An interest in Japanese corporate culture or industrial products is highly desirable.
