The jobholder drives the achievement of sales and revenue targets by building a strong sales pipeline and qualifying opportunities for the Company's assigned food product range.
Job Responsibilities
- Initiate, promote, and develop sales opportunities for assigned products to achieve targeted business growth in line with the Company's sales and revenue budget.
- Prepare and execute sales plans, secure orders for the Company's products, solutions, and services, and achieve assigned sales and income targets.
- Identify, develop, and establish new customers and business opportunities to ensure effective market penetration.
- Plan and conduct technical seminars, solution briefings, and product demonstrations for prospective customers in a professional and high-quality manner.
- Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships that support sustained sales growth. Remain attentive and responsive to customer needs, market trends, and competitors product launches. Provide timely updates to the Department Manager to support the development of counterstrategies.
- Prepare product costings and develop accurate quotations for customers.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach.
- Submit periodic sales reports and activity plans, including updated order closing dates, to the Department Manager, and report any issues or challenges encountered on a regular basis.
- Attend project site meetings as required to ensure smooth coordination and handover.
- Follow up on all sales transactions by monitoring and ensuring timely collections in accordance with the Company's approved credit terms.
Jobs Qualifications
- Degree in any discipline, preferably Food Science & Technology. Strong technical knowledge in food applications will be an added advantage.
- Preferably with at least 3 years sales experience in similar industry
- Solid foundation in technology – computer skills and CRM experience a plus.
