Role Description The Sales Executive (Mandarin Speaker) is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role is responsible for identifying and approaching potential clients, presenting event solutions, and managing the sales cycle from initial contact through to contract closing. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outbound calls and meetings, preparing proposals and quotations, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate sales records. The Sales Executive collaborates with the event operations team to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and delivered, while providing ongoing client support before, during, and after events. The role also involves building long-term relationships, participating in networking activities, and leveraging Mandarin language skills to serve Mandarin-speaking clients effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, with the ability to present ideas clearly in both written and spoken form.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple prospects, proposals, and follow-ups simultaneously.
• Customer service orientation, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into practical event solutions.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, marketing, or related industries is an advantage.
• Comfort with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and CRM or sales tracking systems.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
