This role is suitable for a
hands-on sales professional who is commercially driven, customer-oriented, and keen to build a long-term career in marine and offshore sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales and business development activities within the marine, offshore, and related industries
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including prospecting, follow-ups, and lead generation
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders in coordination with internal teams
- Conduct product presentations and promote company solutions to customers
- Assist in negotiating pricing and commercial terms under guidance from senior sales members
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, and report insights to management
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and industry events when required
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM or internal systems
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related fields
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in marine, offshore, oil & gas, or industrial solutions
- Familiarity with marine equipment, offshore services, or technical products is an advantage
- Mandarin-speaking capability is required, as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with customers and work in a team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and willing to learn
- Comfortable with basic commercial discussions and negotiations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel when required
