The primary purpose of this position is to manage a portfolio of Key Account & One Care, plus other tasks that the Management believes are within the abilities of the Job holder that fit with the Company's strategies as circumstances dictate.
Job Description
Commercial
- Increase import & export sales volume - new customers & customers retention (CIF & FOB)
- Develop business for special equipment cargo i.e. reefer, out-of-gauge etc.
- Conduct regular meeting with various stakeholders to understand the challenge/pain points; act to resolve or improve their concerns or issues & driving a long term solutions
- Conduct market research to develop growth and business expansion
- Maximize Account Plan supports. Initiate rate requests with various Trades
- Promote ONE's digitalization plans to increase e-commerce activities
- Monitor and manage long stay containers
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
- Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, contracts and proposals during the customer meetings
- Monitor progress of each contact and identify potential business
- Track and monitor key metrics
- Analyse data to identify trends, compliance to rate guidelines and/or establish communication with other stakeholders
Others
- Maintain accurate sales record activities, client interactions, contracts and proposals
- Build and maintain strong relationships; consistently follow up with existing/potential clients, leads or prospects
- Address customer issues, resolve disputes, think outside the box when providing solutions for customers
Job Specification:
- Diploma holder or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in shipping sales or an equivalent combination of other industry. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
