Position title: Sales Executive
Job Responsibilities (hunter sales role)
Sales & Business Development
- Pipeline & Targets: Develop a strong ocean freight customer pipeline and consistently achieve assigned sales targets.
- Growth & Profitability: Identify new business opportunities to accelerate company growth and increase profitability.
- Service Offering: Sell integrated supply chain solutions with a focus on international freight services (sea and air freight, customs clearance, and cross-border trucking).
- Market Strategy: Stay ahead of market trends to design creative solutions that anticipate and exceed customer expectations.
- Global Collaboration: Partner with overseas counterparts to share leads and develop international business opportunities.
- Travelling will be around Klang Valley area for on-site visitations.
Account & Relationship Management
- Acquisition & Retention: Secure new business accounts while managing and retaining the existing customer pool.
- Wallet Share: Deepen relationships with current clients to maximize the company's share of their logistics spend.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to improve satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Lead and improve overall account performance by tracking and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) with clients.
Strategy & Brand Awareness
- Market Presence: Work with the management team to identify strategic business opportunities and raise the company's profile among prospective clients.
- Synergy Optimization: Ensure overall profitability and operational synergy when designing customer strategies and proposals.
Job Requirements
Industry Experience & Network
- Logistics Expertise: Deep knowledge of the NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), freight forwarding , and shipping industries.
- Professional Background: A solid background combining technical/operational knowledge with sales experience in the freight forwarding marketplace.
- Established Network: Possession of a wide, active network of industry contacts.
