Position Overview:
As a Key Account Executive focused on baby shop retailers, your primary role is to manage and nurture relationships with our key clients within the baby retail sector. Additionally, you will provide critical support to the Sales Team to ensure the success and growth of these key accounts. You will also play a proactive role in identifying new revenue opportunities and expanding the company's presence into non-traditional channels such as hotels, shopping malls, and lifestyle outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of baby shop retailer accounts, building and maintaining strong, strategic relationships.
Client Support: Assist key clients with their enquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market share within key accounts.
Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our products and their benefits, enabling you to effectively communicate these advantages to retailers and provide product training as needed.
Negotiations: Support the Sales Manager in negotiating terms, pricing, and promotions with key accounts to ensure profitable partnerships.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with internal teams, ensuring that key accounts needs and requirements are met.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by key accounts in a timely and professional manner.
Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports on account performance, sales, and market trends.
Business Development: Identify and explore new revenue opportunities beyond baby shop retailers, including partnerships with hotels, shopping malls, lifestyle outlets, and other relevant channels. Conduct proactive outreach, including cold calling and networking, to generate leads and secure new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners in hospitality, property management, and retail groups. Collaborate with marketing and management teams to design tailored promotions or packages suitable for these new channels.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
· Proven experience in key account management, business development, sales, or any related experience.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Client-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is important.
· Additional language skills will be an added advantage.
