About The Role
We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute Sales Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership and business partnering support to Sales and Commercial teams. This critical role drives profitable growth, strengthens trade spend governance, enhances sales accounting controls, maintains balance sheet integrity, and leads continuous system and process improvements.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Sales Leadership, Country Leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize customer investments, improve decision-making, support transformation projects, and ensure strong financial stewardship across the commercial organization.
Your responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to Sales and Commercial teams, providing strategic insights to drive profitable growth.
- Assist sales forecasting, budgeting, monthly performance reviews, and financial planning activities.
- Provide profitability, pricing, customer, and channel analysis to support business decisions.
- Own trade spend governance, rebate controls, promotional investment reviews, and ROI evaluation.
- Perform pre-event and post-event trade spend effectiveness analysis and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Ensure strong sales accounting controls, accurate accrual management, and compliance with financial policies.
- Drive balance sheet governance by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reconciliation of trade-related accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, financial commentary, and management reporting.
- Lead process simplification, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with regional and global teams on systems implementation and transformation projects.
- Support design, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities for new systems and process changes.
- Lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders through actionable, data-driven recommendations.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Business Partnering, or related finance roles.
- ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong experience in trade spend management, financial planning, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Experience with balance sheet management, sales accounting controls, and financial governance.
- Proven track record in process improvement, system implementation, and transformation projects.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP, BW, BPC, Power BI, Trade Vision, or similar tools preferred.
