Duration: 36 months
Allowance: Attractive monthly allowance, phone bills covered, and performance-based sales commission. Training will be provided to support interns in performing their role effectively. There is potential for continuity after the internship period, with improved allowance, commission, and benefits. KCOM Academy Sarawak is expanding and we're looking for a Sales Intern with strong sales qualities to support our growth across the Sarawak region.
In August 2025, KCOM Academy officially launched its AI initiatives in Sarawak with the support of key state leaders, including Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, alongside his deputies Datuk Dr. Annuar Rapaee and Datuk Francis Harden Ak Hollis.
The initiative focused on future workforce development and the role of AI in education and innovation, in collaboration with Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation and GloCoach.
We are now building a local sales force to support organisations, institutions, and professionals across Sarawak.
What You'll Do:
Support sales outreach across Sarawak (email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and calls).
Follow up on leads from campaigns, events, and partnerships.
Assist in promoting training programmes, workshops, and AI initiatives.
Maintain and update CRM records, contact lists, and sales pipelines.
Coordinate enquiries and support client communications.
Assist with marketing content such as captions, posters, & short campaign messages.
Track basic sales and outreach performance.
Support webinars, briefings, and training-related activities remotely.
What We're Looking For:
Students or fresh graduates in Sales, Marketing, Management, Business, or Communications.
Strong interest in sales, outreach, and relationship-building.
Confident communicator (English required; Malay and local Sarawak context an advantage).
Comfortable speaking with organisations and decision-makers.
Self-driven, disciplined, and able to work remotely (WFH).
Familiarity with Canva, Excel, CRM tools, or social media platforms is a plus.
Results-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
