This role involves managing retail performance and operations in Sarawak Malaysia by driving sales metrics, building strong partner relationships, and ensuring operational excellence through consistent training and ethical management.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail visitation, training & engagement
- Attend daily online/physical meetings with the retail associates that are based in each your assigned region
- Develop good rapport with the retail associates with the sole aim of ensuring they grow all the sales SBI that are required of you for Sarawak
- Conduct QBR with each channel sales head based in your assigned region to share sales and operations performance
Sales SBI Performance
- Ensure all sales metrics in your assigned regions are consistently met (e.g. take rate, gross adds and retention)
- Drive retention of both new and existing subscribers by implementing impactful retention strategies
Operations
- Monitor, escalate and follow through any issues arising from your assigned region
- Ensure a smooth day-to-day operation matters relating to Asurion's products, in all carrier-owned and carrier's channel partner retail stores
- Provide sales training and support delivery for all carrier-owned &/or carrier's channel partners retail stores and personnel
Other core responsibilities
- Cultivate smart spending attitude via effective cost management habits
- Embrace high ethical work culture with uncompromising integrity and excellence in performance across the sales team
- Responsible in strengthening Asurion's product brand identity and ubiquity through related campaigns / cycles as directed by HQ on a time basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or other relevant subject areas
- Ideally based in Sarawak, Malaysia, as this role involves travel within Sarawak and Sabah
- FMCG/Mobile Phones/Telecommunication experience is strongly preferred
- Good knowledge of the retail business
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills within multiple levels internally and externally; ability to work in team structure
- Ability to analyze and respond to company and industry data and to assess trends
- Ability to communicate with people at different levels
- Strong drive for success and highly goal driven
- Resourceful and creative in seeking solutions around problems while working in independent environment
- Passionate about sales and consumer business
