Short Description:
Think of the sales manager as the MVP of our sales squad. They guide and motivate them to achieve exceptional results and exceed their target!
Key Responsibilities:
Agent Recruitment, Training, Coaching, & Engagement:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive agent recruitment strategy to attract top talent.
- Lead the onboarding and training process for new agents, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales skills.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the sales team to improve their performance, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Foster a positive and motivated work environment, promoting team engagement and morale through effective communication.
Sales Leads and Conversion:
- Take a proactive approach to lead generation by identifying and targeting potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to align lead-generation efforts with overall sales goals and strategies.
- Convert leads into sales by demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs, effectively communicating product benefits, and tailoring solutions to meet client requirements.
Internal Sales Team Training:
- Conduct regular training sessions for the internal sales team to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, objection-handling skills, and overall performance.
- Develop training materials and resources that are current, engaging, and aligned with market trends and customer preferences.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Analyse and review the existing sales process, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience.
- Propose and implement changes to optimize the sales process, which may include refining lead qualification methods, improving CRM utilization, and streamlining sales workflows.
Collaboration with Marketing:
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
- Provide input and insight into the development of marketing campaigns and strategies based on sales trends.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales and marketing efforts and share valuable market feedback.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 3 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
