Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the material handling, automation, manufacturing, warehousing, and industrial sectors.
  • Promote and sell automation solutions including cranes, hoists, warehouse automation systems, smart lifting solutions, and integrated material handling technologies.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, industry engagement, and relationship management.

Key Account Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors, and industrial partners.
  • Understand customer operational challenges and recommend value-added automation solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and safety.
  • Conduct client presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations to secure long-term business partnerships.

Solution Selling & Technical Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, project, and technical teams to develop customized automation and material handling solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Support proposal preparation, costing, tender submissions, and project specifications.
  • Provide technical and commercial guidance throughout the sales cycle, from inquiry to project completion.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and customer demands.
  • Analyze market data and customer feedback to support strategic business planning and solution enhancement.
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, technical seminars, and networking events to strengthen market presence and business visibility.

Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and regular business performance reports for management review.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, negotiations, project execution, and payment collection.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, engineering, and service teams to ensure seamless customer support and project delivery.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of sales or business development experience within industrial automation, material handling equipment, cranes, lifting systems, warehouse automation, or related industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing industrial B2B sales and delivering revenue growth.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of automation systems, material handling solutions, and industrial operations.
  • Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and solution-based sales capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and technical discussions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
