Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the BESS business across utilities, industrial clients and renewable energy developers.
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, solution design, proposal preparation, negotiation and deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, grid operators, regulators and renewable energy developers.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D and operations teams to deliver technically feasible, customer-focused solutions.
Grid & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all BESS solutions comply with applicable local and international grid codes and technical standards.
- Support grid interconnection by coordinating with utilities, transmission operators, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor updates in energy storage regulations, grid codes, and integration requirements and translate them into commercial execution.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy, with exposure to technical sales, project management, or technical support (BESS/PCS/EMS preferred).
- Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid integration standards (IEC, IEEE).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel for client and project engagements.
