Key Duties:
The Sales Manager Chemical and Energy will support Rieckermann Malaysia to manage the marketing and sales activities of Rieckermann's leading and owned technologies, as well as process equipment within the petrochemical, fertilizer, oleochemical, sustainable plastic and tire recycling, biogas, and waste to energy market segment. This includes thorough understanding of Malaysian market for chemical & energy industry and being commercially astute.
- Sales - Effectively present, promote, and sell industrial equipment and technology solutions to existing and prospective customers
- Market Research - Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to support strategic sales planning, while staying current with emerging trends within the chemical & energy sectors
- Business Development - Boost business growth through sustained market visibility, input on local marketing initiatives, and active participation in domestic and international industry events
- Customer Relationship Management - Strengthen client relationships through regular visits and tailored solutions
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience in chemical, oleochemical or environmental industry, preferably in sales and projects
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales target in B2B sales environment
- Able to manage and close sales pipeline and deals and provide tailored solutions based on customer needs
- A solution-oriented mindset with a passion for helping clients optimize their operations with advanced technology
- Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English
- Digitally savvy and proficient in MS Office applications and other relevant applications
- Capable of identifying customer requirements and translating them into practical solutions
- Readiness to travel frequently locally and internationally
