The Opportunity

As Grid‑eMotion / eMobility Sales Manager, you will lead market development and sales growth for Malaysia and Singapore, working closely with customers, partners, and internal global centers of competence to position Hitachi Energy as a trusted solution provider in large‑scale charging infrastructure.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • You will own and drive sales performance for Grid‑e-Motion® and e-Mobility solutions in Malaysia and Singapore, develop and execute country‑specific sales strategies, account plans, and opportunity pipelines, identify and develop opportunities with public transport operators (bus, depot charging), Fleet owners and logistics providers, Port operators and infrastructure developers, EPCs, integrators, utilities, and public authorities and build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision‑makers.
  • You will lead opportunity qualification, bid/no‑bid assessments, and commercial positioning, coordinate with Global e-Mobility / Grid‑e-Motion Center of Competence, Tendering, Engineering, and Project teams for solution development, support preparation of: commercial proposals, Value propositions, customer clarifications and negotiations and ensure alignment with internal governance, approvals, and risk review processes, develop and manage local ecosystem: EPC partners, charging interface providers, Civil and balance‑of‑plant partners and support strategic partnerships to strengthen market access and delivery capability.
  • You will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in Malaysia and Singapore, provide structured feedback to global product and strategy teams to support portfolio evolution Governance & Values.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Power Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management within: Power systems, e-Mobility / EV charging infrastructure, Grid integration or infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong understanding of grid‑connected charging, substations, and power distribution, proven experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and solid commercial and contractual understanding.
  • Willingness to travel within Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
