About Our Client

They are currently seeking a Sales Manager in Malaysia to drive market growth by building strong partnerships with key retailers, distributors, and large-scale buyers.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Sales Manager for this role would typically include:

  • Market Development: Identify and target new business opportunities in the Malaysian market, focusing on expanding the brand&aposs presence through partnerships with key retailers, distributors, and large-scale buyers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets, ensuring alignment with the company&aposs overall business objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations with potential clients and distributors, closing sales deals that are mutually beneficial and aligned with company goals.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide insights and recommendations for strategic adjustments. Regularly report on sales performance and market conditions to senior management.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to ensure seamless operations and successful execution of sales initiatives.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets to track progress and adjust sales tactics accordingly to meet or exceed targets.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as the face of the company in the Malaysia market, promoting the brand at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

The Successful Applicant

  • Able to speak fluent English
  • At least 5 years working and familiar with the local furniture market
  • A proven sales track record
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
