Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the entire sales of General Trade for SP Branch.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive business plan, including sales strategies, and profit goals.
  • Enhancing the visibility and market presence of Julie's brand to stimulate growth.
  • Analyzing sales performance and territory dynamic, adjusting strategies as needed, and managing debt collection effectively.
  • Implementing a robust sales management process to help the team identify and prioritize key customers and prospects.
  • Monitoring the sales team's performance and driving them to achieve targets.
  • Managing, training, and leading the sales team in the designated territory.
  • Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Regularly reviewing and reporting on sales data and market analysis to senior management.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the superiors or the Company.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Management/ Marketing/ Mass Communication/ Business Administration or equivalent, with at least 5 years experience in FMCG industry, preferably within the food & beverages industry in General Trade.
  • A proven track record in developing sales and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is essential as the role involves dealing with Mandarin speaking clients.
  • A strong passion for sales and the ability to think quickly and innovatively.
  • Decisiveness, a broad perspective, and proficient planning and analytical skills, with a knack for problem-solving, critical thinking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivation and goal orientation, with a persistent drive to achieve better results.
  • Independence, proactivity, and strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ownership of a car and willingness to travel extensively across the Northern Region, including Perak, Penang, Kedah, and Perlis.
