QSR Manager – Global Food Services
We are looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused professional to join our team as an Account Manager / QSR Manager – Global Food Services.
This role is responsible for managing regional and global Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and food service accounts, driving business growth, strengthening customer relationships, and coordinating successful product development and commercialization projects across multiple markets.
Based in Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, the role will support key accounts across Malaysia and Singapore, with additional exposure to Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Hong Kong, and the Middle East.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, commercially minded, and able to work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to deliver strong customer outcomes and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account & Customer Management
- Manage regional and global QSR and food service accounts to ensure strong customer relationships and sustainable business growth.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of customer organizations and maintain regular engagement with key stakeholders.
- Conduct business reviews and identify opportunities to expand product offerings and improve service delivery.
- Understand customer operational requirements, market trends, and product expectations to provide effective business solutions.
Business Development & Commercial Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and new market channels.
- Drive sales growth through customized solutions, menu innovation, and strategic partnerships.
- Support commercial activities including pricing, quotations, contract management, and sales forecasting.
- Monitor sales performance, account trends, and market developments to support business strategies.
- Work closely with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure pricing accuracy and margin alignment.
Product Development & Project Coordination
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to drive new product ideation, development, and commercialization.
- Translate customer requirements and market insights into product concepts in collaboration with R&D and QA teams.
- Coordinate project timelines involving product development, trials, launches, and operational execution.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination between customers and internal stakeholders throughout project implementation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of commitments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, QA, Finance, and R&D teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Share customer feedback and market insights to support internal decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support operational issue resolution and ensure quick turnaround in communication to meet customer expectations.
- Participate actively in internal meetings, customer discussions, and business planning sessions.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma, Degree, or higher qualification in Food Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Food Service, QSR, HORECA, FMCG, or related industries.
- Proven experience in key account management, customer relationship management, and commercial/business development.
- Experience working with regional or global food service customers is an added advantage.
- Exposure to new product development and commercialization processes will be highly preferred.
