Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role is pivotal in driving and achieving budgeted revenues, fostering long-term client relationships, and leading the sales team to new heights. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to create and implement effective sales strategies that maximize revenue across various market segments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key corporate and leisure accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Drive room sales growth by designing and promoting tailored packages for corporate and leisure markets, including long-term guest solutions.
- Build and sustain a loyal client base for room sales, banquets, and meetings.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet individual and group revenue goals.
- Conduct sales blitzes and execute strategic plans to penetrate target markets.
- Provide actionable marketing intelligence to refine the department's strategies.
- Showcase hotel facilities and services through well-organized client inspections.
- Formulate and execute marketing strategies to boost visibility and drive bookings.
- Represent the Director of Sales when required and take on special projects as assigned.
- Maintain exceptional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:- Proven experience in hotel sales with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior sales role.
- Strong expertise in corporate and leisure markets, especially FIT/GIT segments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve measurable sales results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and sales tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hotel management software, such as Opera PMS (an added advantage).
