Job Description

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and oversee strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Lead by example to inspire the sales team in achieving individual and collective targets.
  • Identify key market segments and business opportunities to enhance market share.

Business Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners to generate business.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams through proactive sales initiatives.
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and presentations to showcase the hotel's unique offerings.

Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring consistent communication and relationship-building.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and meet client needs.
  • Analyze account performance and develop strategies to address revenue shortfalls.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with other departments, including Events, F&B, and Front Office, to ensure seamless service delivery for client bookings and events.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand.

Client Experience:

  • Ensure top-tier service delivery to clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement in service quality.

Team Development:

  • Mentor and coach junior sales staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring alignment with the hotel's culture and goals.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and sales techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel sales systems.

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa & English (additional languages are an advantage).
