Sales Manager (Automotive)
Job Responsibilities
• Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase vehicle sales volume and market share.
• Monitor daily sales performance, lead conversion rates, and customer follow-ups to ensure target achievement.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to Sales Advisors to improve product knowledge, closing skills, and customer service standards.
• Plan and execute sales campaigns, roadshows, and promotional activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs in all sales documentation, loan submissions, and delivery processes.
• Oversee showroom operations, duty roster planning, and ensure excellent customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, corporate clients, and business partners to enhance financing and sales opportunities.
• Monitor SSI (Sales Satisfaction Index) and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) performance and implement improvement plans where necessary.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to Management.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure proper stock management, vehicle allocation, and coordination with Operations and Service departments.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in automotive sales with at least 1–2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Result-driven with strong sales and target orientation.
• Familiar with hire purchase documentation and automotive sales process.
• Possess valid driving license.
