Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Glenmarie. The Sales Manager will oversee and lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing training and mentorship to the sales team, analyzing market trends, and preparing sales forecasts. The role requires effective collaboration with other departments to align on business goals and meet customer needs.

  • Strong Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and achieve targets
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Oversee new and used vehicle sales, including pricing strategies and customer relationship management.
  • Ensure overall sales performance aligns with the Annual Management Plan (AMP).
  • Manage vehicle stock movement, availability, ordering, and reporting to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Liaise with Head Office and Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) on all sales-related matters.
  • Analyse sales performance, monitor team momentum, provide coaching, and ensure adequate training and product knowledge.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and proactively initiate customer care activities.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints to achieve targeted Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
  • Collaborate with Marketing, After Sales, and internal/external stakeholders on campaigns and initiatives.
  • Control departmental expenses, manage sales budgets, and implement cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Be accountable for outlet sales performance and gross profit achievement.
  • Lead and execute outlet-level marketing activities to maximise sales returns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time
