General description of the overall job
Direct and oversee an organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
1) The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and continuously build a robust customer pipeline.
2) Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results and negotiation customer expectations on the company capacity.
3) Build strong relationships with customers and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to purchase order (PO) negotiation and production handoff.
4) Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
5) Maintain professional and technical knowledge by learning the process for creating accurate and correct sales orders that align with the company standards and capacity.
6) Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
7) Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
8) Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward, and individual recognition.
9) Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities. Has a ability to captive customers and sell a vision.
10) Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
11) Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, new market penetration and programs to capture key demographics.
12) Sell to existing and potential direct accounts as well as provide sales support to distribution partners to participate in closing and order or to facilitate and add value to the selling process.
13) Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts
14) Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan.
15) Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop, and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans.
16) Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions.
17) Effectively communicates boundaries to customers and validates the customers needs to maintain integrity and establish trust.
18) Prepare reporting as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION
1) Bachelor's degree and (or) Diploma in Engineering or related filed required
2) Proven experience and advanced understanding of Microsoft Office and Salesforce required.
3) 5+ years of experience in Technical Sales required in the Equipment Market preferred.
4) Familiar with the industry and product development lifecycle to effectively understand a customer's needs and vision to develop a plan for production.
5) Able to navigate discussing products with customers and be skilled of explaining technical concepts simply.
6) Displays the ability to work on a small team and independently required.
7) Demonstrates a strong ability in time management, organization and self-motivation required.
8) Proven ability in effective written and verbal communication required.
9) Complying with company policies and safety regulations is a must.
