Job Description

Job Summary

As a Sales Manager responsible for semiconductor-related products (MCU, ASIC, ASSP, Flash, etc.), you will focus on strengthening relationships with existing customers, while also driving new business opportunities and expanding market presence.

In addition to customer management, the role involves gathering market intelligence and coordinating internally across departments, contributing to the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Promote and expand sales of semiconductor-related products
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers (approx. 10 accounts, mainly Japanese companies)
  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities and market expansion activities
  4. Collect and analyze market information, including pricing, competitor activities, demand trends, and new market entrants
  5. Prepare and report monthly demand forecasts
  6. Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, technical, marketing, etc.)
  7. Manage delivery schedules and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  8. Handle quality issues and complaints by coordinating between customers and internal teams
  9. Support payment collection and accounts receivable follow-up
  10. Participate in promotional activities such as exhibitions and seminars
  11. Support overseas business trips (e.g., Jakarta, Indonesia approximately twice a year, usually accompanied by a Japanese staff member)
  12. Support domestic business trips around Kuala Lumpur (approximately once per quarter)

Sales Structure / Style

  1. Primarily responsible for existing customer accounts (approx. 10 companies)
  2. Most customers are Japanese companies, while daily communication is often with local counterparts
  3. Future involvement in new business development targeting local companies is expected
  4. Japanese language is mainly used for email reporting of sales activities to the Japan headquarters

MUST TO HAVE:

-Have own car

-At least 5 years of related experience

Ex)

-Semiconductor sales (MCU, ASIC, Flash, etc.)

-Sales experience in an electronic component trading company

-Sales or FAE (Field Application Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer) experience in a semiconductor manufacturer or related industry

-The experience in Japanese company
