Role Summary

The Sales Manager will lead and grow SOLS Smart's corporate and institutional sales. This role is responsible for driving revenue, managing the sales pipeline, building long-term client relationships, and leading a small sales team (where applicable).

This is a hands-on leadership roleyou are expected to sell, strategise, and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive corporate sales for training programmes (HR, leadership, English, digital, AI, and customised solutions)

- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets

- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, proposal development, negotiation, and closure

- Convert inbound leads (seminars, forums, HR events) into paying clients

- Build strong relationships with HR leaders, L&D managers, business owners, and decision-makers

- Understand client needs and propose tailored training solutions

- Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business

- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with SOLS Smart's growth goals

- Identify new market opportunities (corporate, government, higher education)

- Work closely with Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion rates

- Coach and guide sales executives (if applicable)

- Work closely with Trainers, Programme Managers, and Operations to ensure smooth delivery

- Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to management

- Represent SOLS Smart professionally at forums, networking events, and client meetings

- Clearly communicate SOLS Smart's impact model and social purpose to clients

Requirements:

- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in B2B sales

- At least 12 years in a sales leadership or senior sales role

- Experience in training, education, HR solutions, consulting, or services-based industries is highly preferred

- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to understand training solutions and articulate value clearly

- Target-driven, resilient, and comfortable with accountability

- Strong planning, reporting, and CRM discipline

- Purpose-driven and aligned with social impact organisations

- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment

- Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented

- Strong sense of ownership and professionalism
