Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the Malaysian market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, projects, and strategic accounts
  • Expand TROX market presence across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors

Consultant & Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consulting engineers, developers, contractors, and project owners
  • Promote TROX products and solutions during design stages to secure project specifications
  • Conduct technical presentations, product training, and solution briefings for consultants and customers

Project & Technical Sales

  • Manage project pipelines from design stage through tendering and project award
  • Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and product selections based on project requirements
  • Provide technical support and coordinate with internal engineering teams for customized system solutions

Commercial Management

  • Lead pricing discussions and commercial negotiations with contractors and customers
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely follow-up to secure project orders
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM reporting

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
  • Provide feedback to management on market opportunities and strategic developments

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC, ventilation, or building services industry
  • Strong experience in project sales within the Malaysian construction market
  • Good understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation solutions, and building services applications
  • Strong network with consultants, contractors, and developers in Malaysia is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
  • Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems
  • Ability to travel locally for customer visits and project meetings
  • Mandarin proficiency is highly desirable to support business development
