WE ARE HIRING! Autoclinic Malaysia is in search of a Sales & Marketing Executive (4x4 Car Parts & Accessories)!

About the role

As a Sales & Marketing Executive (4x4 Car Parts & Accessories), you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and marketing efforts. This full-time position is based in Ara Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of this leading provider of premium 4x4 car parts and accessories.

Main Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Sales Target Achievement: Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for 4x4 parts and accessories (e.g., suspension, lift kits, bumpers, winches, lighting, etc.).
  • Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with existing dealers, distributors, workshops, and retail customers across Malaysia.
  • Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare accurate price quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize sales contracts, ensuring profitable margins.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends within the Malaysian 4x4 industry and report insights to management.

2. Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge

  • Product Consultation: Act as the technical expert to advise customers and dealers on the features, benefits, specifications, and proper application of various 4x4 components.
  • Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and manage sales forecasts to maintain optimal stock levels.

3. Marketing & Promotion

  • Marketing Strategy Execution: Assist in planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches to increase brand awareness and drive sales of 4x4 products.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at relevant trade shows, automotive exhibitions, dealer workshops, and 4x4 enthusiast events in Malaysia.
  • Digital Content Input: Provide technical and product insights to the digital marketing team for the creation of engaging content (photos, videos, articles) for social media and website use.

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

  • Minimum of five (5) years of proven sales and marketing experience specifically within the 4x4 car parts and accessories aftermarket industry in Malaysia.
  • Deep, verifiable knowledge of 4x4 vehicle systems, modification processes, and common parts/brands used in the Malaysian market is mandatory.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, from technical mechanics to business owners.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently to cover assigned territories.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel frequently within Selangor and occasionally to other Malaysian states for sales visits and events.
  • Must be able to commute daily to the office located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
