Role Overview

You will spearhead new business growth for Monolith Digital across performance marketing, creative services, and emerging AI-led products. The role demands a commercially sharp operator who can navigate midlarge organisations, uncover real business needs, and close deals with discipline and momentum.

Your mandate is simple: grow revenue through qualified pipeline, strategic outreach, and tight account management.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Development

Drive outreach to SMEs, MNCs, agencies, government-linked companies, and tourism bodies.

Identify high-probability prospects for:

  • Performance marketing retainers
  • Creative/content services
  • AI-based solutions (Culture Engine, KOL platform, performance dashboards)
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with clear qualification criteria (budget, authority, need, timing).
  • Develop tailored pitches grounded in client challenges, Monolith capabilities, and measurable outcomes.

2. Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Conduct discovery sessions, craft proposals, lead negotiations, and close deals consistently.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene: forecasting accuracy, pipeline velocity, and follow-up cadence.
  • Collaborate with strategy, performance, and creative teams to shape scopes and pricing.
  • Prepare revenue projections and support the MD in quarterly commercial planning.

3. Account Growth & Relationship Management

  • Manage newly acquired accounts through onboarding and early retention phases.
  • Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Monolith's service suite.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and brand leads.

4. Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Track competitor offerings, pricing shifts, and emerging demand in performance, creative, and AI marketing.
  • Provide insights to shape Monolith's propositions, case studies, and commercial assets.
  • Represent Monolith at events, industry gatherings, and partnership opportunities.

Requirements

Must-Have
  • 36 years experience in sales roles within marketing, digital advertising, SaaS, or creative agencies.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with ability to frame problems and articulate ROI.
  • Confident in pitching performance marketing concepts (CPM/CPC/CPA/ROAS).
  • Experience managing proposals, scoping, contracting, and procurement processes.
  • Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency preferred.

Good-to-Have
  • Understanding of MarTech, AI creative tools, or automation platforms.
  • Existing network in key verticals: property, retail, tourism, F&B, government, or B2B services.
  • Ability to work across hybrid teams (performance, creative, strategy, tech).
