Education Counselor
(Sales & Marketing Student Recruitment)|
The University of Cyberjaya is seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven individual to join our Student Recruitment team as an Education Counselor.
This role focuses on generating student enrolments, building recruitment pipelines, and converting prospective students into successful admissions. The successful candidate will actively engage with potential students, partners, and influencers to drive sustainable enrolment growth and strengthen the university's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
-Student Recruitment & Sales Conversion
Drive student recruitment by actively identifying, engaging, and converting prospective students into enrolled applicants.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from enquiry to application and enrolment.
Meet and exceed student recruitment targets and KPIs through proactive outreach, follow-ups, and relationship management.
-Outreach, Partnerships & Lead Generation
Develop and execute lead generation strategies through education fairs, school visits, community events, and digital engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with education agents, schools, and other key influencers to generate high-quality student referrals.
Actively source and nurture new recruitment channels and partnership opportunities.
-Consultation & Application Advisory
Provide professional education counselling to prospective students and parents on programme selection, career pathways, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
Guide students through the full application journey, ensuring timely submission and conversion from enquiry to enrolment.
Conduct one-to-one consultations and group briefings to promote the university's programmes and value proposition.
-Recruitment Events & Engagement
Plan and execute student recruitment events such as open days, campus tours, workshops, and partner-based recruitment activities.
Represent the university at education exhibitions and outreach events to generate enquiries and build brand visibility.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for prospective students.
-Digital Engagement & Marketing Support
Leverage digital platforms including Xiaohongshu (XHS), Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels to attract and engage prospective students.
Support the development of marketing content, campaigns, and digital storytelling that highlight the university's programmes, campus experience, and student success stories.
Contribute insights from the market to improve recruitment strategies and campaign effectiveness.
