We are now expanding into the functional beverage industry with Upbound, a performance hydration drink crafted for wellness-conscious and active lifestyles.
About This Role
We're looking for a hands-on Sales Merchandiser to help grow Upbound on the ground. You'll be out in the field opening new accounts, building strong relationships with outlets, and driving repeat orders. You'll also handle POSM setup and make sure our products are well-stocked and properly displayed in stores.
It's a field-based role for someone who enjoys being on the move, doing sales, executing plans on the ground, and making sure the brand stands out in-store.
What You'll Do
- Identify and secure partnerships with trendy cafes, boutique fitness studios, co-working spaces and specialty retail outlets.
- Pitch Upbound's unique value proposition and close deals with decision makers.
- Achieve targeted new outlet openings monthly.
- Become the trusted partner for existing accounts, ensuring consistent reorders.
- Optimize product placement and visibility in high-traffic locations.
- Coordinate seamless deliveries and inventory management.
- Executive exciting sampling events, fitness collaborations, and in-store promotions.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights
- Support sampling days, small activations, and launch setups when needed.
- Maintain clear records of outlet status, orders, stock movement, and merchandising execution.
What We're Looking For
- Preferably Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, field sales, or retail — FMCG, beverage, or beauty experience is a strong advantage.
- Own transport and valid driving licence as this is a field-based role covering, multiple outlets daily.
- Comfortable being on the ground and moving around independently every day.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills as you'll be interacting with outlet owners and managers regularly.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to track stock, orders, and outlet visits accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Proactive and self-directed, able to work without step-by-step supervision.
