-Conduct market research across the APAC, identify potential customers, build target account lists, and develop new business opportunities through outreach and relationship building.
-Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, and propose suitable materials, products, and supply-chain solutions.
-Coordinate with customers/suppliers on regulatory & compliance matters
-Manage existing accounts through strategic upselling/cross-selling to maximize customer retention.
-Manage the sales cycle, from quotation, order management, logistics coordination, delivery follow-up, and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Collaborate with the Japan HQ, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
-Maintain sales records, manage contracts, quotations, forecasts, shipping documentation, and other sales-related processes.
MUST TO HAVE:
-Minimum 3 years experience in B2B sales and new business development
-Track record of developing new business opportunities, building long-term relationships, and achieving sales targets
-Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, high volume of accounts with accuracy
-Willingness to continuously improve the industrial and technical knowledge
-Business-level English proficiency
-Willingness to travel within Malaysia and across the APAC region as required
