Coherent Corp is seeking a Business Process and Data Analyst with a proven track record of success in multiple Salesforce implementations and integration projects, and a solid understanding of sales processes, sales relevant reporting and standard methodologies. You are highly data-driven, intellectually curious, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with minimal direction.
- Provide comprehensive sales operational support for Salesforce, Power BI, third party applications, and data flow to/from associated sales applications.
- Ensure accurate data structure is in place on areas of responsibility to enable analytics on key business measures.
- Create and maintain reporting capabilities in Salesforce and Power BI on key business and sales process measures to sales and marketing operational needs.
- Ensure controls are in place over applications to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT.
- Act as liaison between functional groups and IT to fully understand business requirements and successfully translate them into CRM requests.
- Maintain frequent communication with business process owners to ensure changes to SFDC, associated processes, and applications are consistent with business needs.
- Find opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new processes/policies.
- Develop operational measurements to identify business process issues and provide recommendations and solutions to business challenges.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for Salesforce and Power BI solutions owned by the Global Sales Operations team.
- Document SFDC processes, train Salesforce users and keep material updated.
- Monitor industry trends to ensure Coherent s Salesforce solutions are current with industry-standard methodologies and new technology implementations.
Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of the sales process is a must.
- Must possess an eye for business, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent customer interfacing, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present technical content to all levels within the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
- Sets goals and drives to their fulfillment. Takes ownership for their actions and outcomes related to their actions.
- Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management.
- Must be able to create and roll out procedures and work instructions that drive corrective action and reinforce best practices.
Education and Work Experience:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline or similar
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Cloud Craze, Account Engagement) experience.
- 2+ years managing Sales Operations projects.
- At least 2 years of experience working directly with and supporting a global sales team.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI in cleaning, transforming, familiarity with DAX expressions, experience with SQL and preparing data for analysis is highly preferred.
- Practical experience in utilizing Python to interact with Snowflake databases, schemas, and warehouses is a plus.
- Project Management (Waterfall or Agile) experience a plus
