The Product Specialist is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and other relevant target groups to meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. This role focuses on executing Customer Engagement Excellence, leveraging Patient Focused Interactions (PFI) and implementing promotional activities to enhance customer relationships while adhering to local regulations and company policies.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Achieve sales, volume, growth, market share, and listing targets for assigned brands.
- Plan, orchestrate, and execute healthcare professional (HCP) engagements aligned with marketing strategies using tailored Patient Focused Interactions based on HCP needs and priorities.
- Report customer engagement activities using CRM tools and utilize available functionalities to enhance customer interactions and experiences.
- Monitor and communicate competitive activity to management to reflect market dynamics and potential counteractions.
- Organize regular scientific updates (e.g., CME, scientific meetings) for HCP groups in alignment with marketing strategies.
- Continuously develop knowledge on medical/clinical topics, brand strategy, competitive landscape, and standard platforms to challenge the status quo.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to provide feedback on strategies and tactics while identifying potential new business opportunities.
- Comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (advanced qualifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven performance track record.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- IT literacy with a basic understanding of computers and related technology.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, self-driven, organized, and willing to work extensively in the field.
