Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative Orthopedic role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Neomedix's orthopedic product portfolio to surgeons, hospitals, and other healthcare institutions within the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include visiting hospitals and clinics, conducting product presentations and demonstrations in operating rooms and meeting settings, and providing technical support during procedures as needed. The role also involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers, monitoring competitor activity, and identifying new business opportunities. The Sales Representative will collaborate with internal teams on forecasting, inventory management, and order processing, while ensuring accurate reporting of sales activities and pipeline in CRM or similar tools. Ongoing responsibilities include attending training, workshops, and conferences to stay current on product knowledge, clinical trends, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • Proven sales skills in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related healthcare fields, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management abilities to develop and maintain partnerships with surgeons, nurses, procurement teams, and hospital administrators.
  • Comfort working in clinical and operating room environments, with the ability to understand and communicate orthopedic product features and clinical benefits.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • High degree of self-motivation, resilience, and time-management skills to plan routes, prioritize accounts, and manage an independent schedule.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM systems, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software for reporting, territory planning, and customer follow-up.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience in orthopedic sales or hospital-based sales is strongly preferred; willingness to learn orthopedic concepts and attend clinical trainings is essential.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within WP. Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas, including occasional early-morning or after-hours hospital visits.
